FIVE FISH FAMILY
Fourteen years ago David and Andrea Gauchman were about to pack the house up and move back to Boston almost out if money. When David's developmentally delayed uncle Seymore who had worked his entire adult life for the state of Massachusetts. passed away and left them $20,000 with that they started the Five Fish family of stores. The name comes from their own immediate family of a mom, dad and three little (at the time) fish. We began that business with only the Fresh Produce line, and the infamous Beanie Babies the next line we added to the mix was Life is Good and shortly after that Brighton collectables. After a few crazy moves around the town of Tarpon Springs we have finally found our home in the Sponge Exchage, with three beautiful stores.
The most exciting part of our business is our wonderful longtime customers, including our very first customer ever, Ginny who still comes in every year when she's in town. We get so thrilled every fall when our snowbirds come back to visit and shop it's like seeing a family member walk through the door!
Our warm friendly staff is another comforting part of our company, most of whom have been with us for years, including those that come back year after year as snowbirds!!
